I'm interested to hear your thought on Pouliot since the begining of the season? He's really found a home with Tyrell and Pyatt and as far as I have seen has played a solid first 6 games.

Been very good. Found a fit on that third line, using his speed, forechecking and doing everything Guy Boucher asks of him.

You must have the fluid work schedule that I do. Your up at weird times and not around others.

What did you think of Lee's game? I thought it was his best of the year by a mile.

I watched the game early this morning and I thought it was an improvement over his last couple of games. Still needs to watch we're his passes are going.

That breakaway save by Lindback was great.

Yup, still room for improvement, but he was much better than I've seen him this year. Made a few real nice defensive plays and holds at the line.

That was a dandy, to be sure. With that, I'm off for some much needed shut-eye.

a few more wins like this and teams start going into games expecting to lose against us. teams look scared. weve had one bad period against the isles but other than that its pretty much been total domination. we take that period out and we are 6-0-0. biggest test so far will be fri/sat a big divisional game then the rangers. more worried about the jets cuz we usually own the rangers when we play them at home. hoping for a 3-2 win over the jets and 4-1 over the rangers. jets could possibly be in OT/shootout.

I think timing has been on our side lately playing at home, with a day off before, against teams that played on the road the night before (Ottawa, Philly, and soon the Jets), and an injured Panthers team; but it's obviously very important to take advantage of these opportunities. I am most interested to see how we look against the rangers since they are considered a favorite in our conference, and we play the day before (albeit at home) while they don't play.

Good game Bolts! I predicted a 5-3 game and it was 5-2. I blame Anders for us not getting another goal!

Too many penalties coupled with too much Tampa skill doomed us. Throw in our penchant for not converting chances and it was an uphill battle all night.

In the first half of the season, Tampa gets teams who play at Florida the night before while in the second half it switches. Right now Tampa pummels teams that already beat the Panthers so the opponent feels ok having already won. Hopefully in the second half when the Panthers regain form the Lightning can wear down teams for us.

Wishful thinking on the Panthers part? Probably.

I know it's still early, but I haven't seen a team play such dominant hockey in a while. (maybe the bruins at times last year, but that wasn't this offensive) The goals we're letting in are just plain stupid. I don't think the team has let in like a "good" goal in 3 or 4 games. It's ridiculous how good some of these guys are playing, offensively and defensively.

I have friends who don't watch the games and say the lightning are just off to a good start because of their "easy" schedule, but they don't watch the games. It's gotten to the point where they're EASILY scoring 3 or 4 goals.

I mean, if they can keep this up, the division should be ours, but anyway, another big weekend coming up. We'll see where the teams stands after saturday night.

How about that Conacher kid though...

exactly. honestly we have gifted the goals that have been scored on us. its not like other teams are outplaying us for a goal. both goals last night are an example. and a garbage goal in the philly game. we get rid of the gifts and our goals against will be well zero. lindback should have about 3 shutouts already this year. and garon should have got the shutout in carolina too.

Absolutely agree with this. To me, the Rangers game is the measuring stick on this trip.
